Ministries

Our two main ministries show our passion for children and families!

First, we have a wonderful private Christian school, the Mills River SDA School. We believe that the best education results when Christ is at the center of all we do, the Bible is our foundation and the student learns through a whole child approach––nurturing their growth spiritually, academically, physically and socially.  We invite you to click on the link above to learn more about how this happens at our school. 

 

Our second ministry, God'Closet, is an Adventist Community Services ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The basis of this giving ministry consists of a donation network whereby individuals, families and businesses within our community are invited to donate new and gently used children’s clothing (from newborn to teenager) at any time throughout the year to God’s Closet. One day per quarter God’s Closet opens for parents and guardians of children to come ‘shop’ donated clothing free of charge, for a $1 admission fee.
